Tonewoods Chosen for Clarity and Character
We selected a solid 1-3/4” (44.4 mm) light ash body, known for its clear, resonant voice and lightweight feel. Loved by tone purists, light ash offers crisp highs, warm bass, and fantastic sustain, making it a top choice for those who seek balance across the spectrum.
The neck is crafted from North Eastern U.S. hard maple with a comfortable C-profile, measuring:
• 21 mm (53/64”) at the 1st fret
• 22 mm (55/64”) at the 12th fret
Topped with a rosewood fingerboard featuring 6mm pearloid dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo hardened nickel silver frets, the playability is both fast and smooth.
The bone nut (1-11/16” / 43 mm) ensures tone integrity and tuning stability, supported by 19:1 locking die-cast machine heads for quick string changes and precision tuning.

The FCS-1 Full Contact System™ bridge is engineered for maximum string-to-body vibration transfer. A solid steel blade base with individual saddle pins and an aluminum string block (FCS-1A) results in an open, harp-like resonance with excellent sustain and clarity.

Equipped with a full set of Lace Holy Grail pickups, the Illuminator LA offers a classic single-coil sound without the usual hum. Expect articulate highs, rounded lows, and a touch of modern precision.
