The Aslin Dane Icosa is a uniquely engineered 6-string thinline acoustic guitar, built for players who demand the warmth of acoustic resonance in a stage-friendly, ultra-slim design. At just 1-7/8” (47.5mm) thick at the sides, this guitar delivers clear tone, great projection, and effortless playability.

Innovative Construction – Carved for Resonance
The back and sides of the Icosa are carved from a single block of solid mahogany, completely hollowed out to form a seamless, resonant shell. The top is available in either solid Sitka spruce or laminated spruce, paired with hand-carved X-bracing and a larger-than-average dome to compensate for the thinline body—enhancing volume and response.
To ensure perfect mating between the curved spruce top and the rim, we use CNC-machining on the top bearing edge, enabling precise joining of complex radial curves—a process impossible to achieve by hand. Beyond this precision step, the guitar is built by hand for maximum tonal character and individuality.

Neck & Playability
The neck is carved from a single piece of mahogany, reinforced with a scarf-jointed headstock to enhance strength near the nut. The rosewood fingerboard has 22 hardened nickel silver frets, a 14” (350mm) radius, and elliptical pearloid inlays for a sleek look and intuitive fret access.

Electronics & Performance
A graphite-compensated saddle sits atop a rosewood bridge, with a Piezo element pickup installed beneath. The active preamp system includes:
