The Aslin Dane Icosa Nylon is a beautifully crafted nylon-string thinline acoustic-electric guitar, engineered for warm classical tone with stage-ready functionality. With a side thickness of just 1-7/8” (47.5 mm) and a fully hollowed back carved from solid mahogany, this guitar combines the tonal depth of classical instruments with the sleek profile and balance of a modern build.

Carved for Comfort, Designed for Tone
At the core of the Icosa Nylon is a one-piece solid mahogany body, precision-hollowed to create a unified back and sides construction. The top is made from either solid or laminated spruce, supported by Aslin Dane’s own hand-carved X-bracing system and a deeply domed top for optimal movement and resonance despite the thin profile.
To achieve a perfect fit between the domed top and the body, a CNC-machined bearing edge is used—ensuring seamless contact across multi-radial curves. This is the only machine-assisted process; the rest of the guitar is meticulously hand-built for tonal integrity.

Neck & Playability
Crafted from one piece of solid mahogany, the neck is scarf-jointed at the headstock for enhanced structural strength at its thinnest point. The rosewood fingerboard is flat, in keeping with classical tradition, and features 22 nickel silver frets with pearloid elliptical inlays.
