Innovative Carved Body Design
The body construction begins with a solid block of mahogany, meticulously hollowed to form a seamless back and sides. This provides tonal warmth and resonance while reducing feedback in amplified settings.
The top is available in either solid Sitka spruce or laminated spruce, matched with carved X-bracing and a larger-than-usual top dome. This special dome shape is precision-matched to the rim using CNC machining, ensuring perfect contact around the instrument for maximum vibration and projection—something virtually impossible to achieve by hand.
