Aslin Dane Bohemian – A Bold Take on Classic Form

The Aslin Dane Bohemian is an innovative, super-cool guitar that pushes the boundaries of conventional design. Featuring a solid Gabon mahogany body and a neck-through construction approach unlike any other, the Bohemian offers lightweight comfort, incredible sustain, and a distinctive voice.

Innovative Reverse Body Construction

Unlike traditional builds, the Bohemian’s top and sides are carved from a single block of mahogany, hollowed internally to create specific tone chambers and a long internal neck cavity that extends just past the bridge. The result is a neck-through design where the bridge is mounted directly onto the extended neck section, providing maximum string energy transfer and sustain—without the added weight.
• Fully loaded weight: Only 6.7–7 lbs — exceptionally light for a neck-through guitar
• Body thickness at side: 1-25/32” (45 mm)
• Upper bout: 9-1/4” | Lower bout: 14”
• 1-ply binding (top and back)
• Finish: Transparent Red/black/vintage burst/ candy apple red/

Bohemian II is exactly the guitar I was looking for. The instrument combines class and refinement with its beautiful finish and excellent playability. It's a lightweight guitar that responds perfectly to the touch, allowing the player to control timbre and dynamics with just their hands. By exploring the peculiarities of pickups and phase shifts, the possibilities increase even further. One of my main jobs as a musician is performing Queen's repertoire, so I'm very familiar with the nuances throughout Brian May's career. I've played several Red Specials for many years, but always borrowed from the equipment stores of the bands I work with, as it took me a while to find one that truly felt right to acquire. Finally, I found it. Definitely, Bohemian II is the best.
